Born in a moment of whimsey, Game Show Sounds provides you with 2 buttons, representing a right answer (green) and a wrong answer (red). Press the green button to hear a "ding"; the red button gives you a "buzz". The sounds are configurable, with 12 of each type to choose from.
Originally, this was created for use in development meetings, as a goofy way to say "wrong answer!" or "exactly right!" (yes, developers are usually dorks), but now that we have it running on our phones, we find more and more uses for it every day.
It's free! So, go get it at the app store ... you might find a use for it we haven't discovered yet.
NOTE: Game Show Sounds technically works on the older iPod Touches, but the really old ones don't have an external speaker, so it's not nearly as fun or functional.
